Sarah Banko is a Brooklyn-based photographer whose North Carolina roots continue to ground her work. With a background in design, she takes a structured approach to each project, and has developed a portfolio spanning portraiture, products, campaigns, e-commerce, and events. Pulling inspiration from the grit of the city and dark, romantic tones, Sarah came to New York to expand further into the editorial world. Most recently, she served as the Lead In-house Photographer and Studio Manager for notable brand, New York or Nowhere.

Before relocating to Brooklyn, Sarah received a BA from the College of Design at North Carolina State University, where she focused on new media with an independent study in photography. Since then, she has built experience supporting fashion and lifestyle brands from pre to post-production, creating work that portrays people and products at their core.
